Here’s mine. He came in today~!
He has silver eyes. He is in no way any sort of a koi. He has the barest hints of gold in several places because my boy does not like to be flashy. His color scheme is very well unified and stylish. His name is Akutagawa and that’s a little ball of Rashoumon he’s holding.
Props to anyone who gets the anime reference.
Two to start with – one for practice and one for the ‘real’ painting. That goes for any mother and father as well. And then probably get more afterwards if I come up with more ideas.
Edit: I’m actively seeking:
– original colored male (father) Kirin
– Original Peacock male (father) dragon
– Young Oriental Dragon with Copper Patina and red eyesI can pay immediately, if not too pricey!
I have listened to some LOUD rants about how we should NEVER give red eyes to Oriental dragons! Apparently, red eyes are a sign of evil in Eastern mythology , and the Oriental dragon is never evil.
Western dragons, sure.I think the red eyes look the best! I’m wanting to get the Copper Patina Orientals, but this set had turquoise eyes, which I thought blended too much with the coloring on the Orientals. But I saw pictures of the previous batch with red eyes, and they are BEAUTIFUL! Please do another more with red eyes!
